Unit 3 How many (Checkoutime time)

Ⅰ.课题

译林版小学《英语》(三年级起点)四年级上册Unit3 How many?第四课时Checkout time

Ⅱ.教材分析

本课是译林版小学《英语》(三年级起点)四年级上册第三单元第课时检测版块的教学。本单元的话题是谈论拥有的物品以及物品的数量,与学生的生活息息相关。本单元的重点单词为thirteen,fourteen,fifteen等表示十几的数词,属于学生应掌握的基本词汇。本单元的主要句型有:How many ... do you have? I have... Can I have a look? Can I have a try?课本中Checkout time的活动为Count and write,内容较为简单,我通过版块内容的再搭配,知识体系的再梳理,情景故事的再建构对本单元的Checkout time进行设计。本课Checkout time图文并茂,语言内容比较简单,很容易被学生理解和掌握。在教学过程中,笔者深入挖掘本单元的主题内容,充分利用课本提供的信息和素材,精心创设故事情境,再现真实的生活场景,使教材生活化、教学情境化。四年级学生对英语已经有了初步了解,对故事很感兴趣,并且喜欢模仿和表演故事。笔者在继续激发和保持学生学习兴趣的同时,着重培养学生的学习策略,提高学生的英语思维能力。本课将进一步运用句型“How many…do you have? I have… What do you have?”,让学生适当增添话轮,对物品进行颜色等其他方面的讨论。故事中的新词twenty,thirty,forty, fifty等需要在故事情境中理解。在学完故事后,学生们能够掌握阅读英语绘本的技能,观察图片,结合文字,总结规律,学会思考。

Ⅲ.目标预设

1. 知识目标:

 能会读、熟练拼写词汇thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sticker, how many, can, have a look, very, sure.

 能听会说、会读、会运用日常交际用语Can I have a look? Can I have one?

 熟练运用句型“How many…do you have? I have… What do you have?”

2. 能力目标:

 能够理解绘本故事内容,并初步朗读课外绘本,做到语音、语调准确。

 能够借助图片、板书等的帮助,尝试模仿绘本中的人物形象,能对绘本进行简单的复述

 能运用所学句型询问和表达数量。

 能够提高语言综合运用能力、与他人的合作能力。

3. 情感目标:

  能积极参与课堂活动,在轻松的学习氛围中学习知识。

  能获得学习成就感,增强对英语学习的兴趣。

 IV.重点、难点

 1.重点:

 ① 能熟练运用本单元的数字和重难点句型谈论有关物品的话题。 

 ②学生能够理解绘本故事内容,并初步朗读课文,做到语音、语调准确。

 2.难点:

① 学生能在故事情景中理解句型“How many…do you have? I have… What do you have?”并尝试运用所学句型询问和表达数量。

② 数字twenty, thirty, forty和fifty的读音。

Ⅴ.教学过程

 Step1. Warm up and lead in

1. Enjoy a song <Number song 1 to 20 for children>

2. Free Talk

T: Im your new English teacher today. Do you want to know about me? You can ask me some questions.

S: What fruit...? What animals...? What colour...?

T:I have some books. I have some dolls.I like to share. Sharing is a very happy thing.

(设计意图:通过歌曲,激活学生旧知。歌曲中共进行了三遍不同节奏的数数,由慢至快,充分调动学生学习英语的积极性。互动环节采用学生向老师提问的方式进行,从学生熟悉的句型What animals do you like? What fruit do you like?等等入手,师生在轻松愉悦的氛围下进入到英语课堂 )

Step 2 Presentation and application

Sam has many, many things. And he wants to have a Sharing Party. Look at his poster.

(设计意图:通过设计Sam举行分享会的大背景,将整节课的三块大活动进行整合,激发孩子的学习热情 )

1. Lets count

 ①Make a list

T:.Everyone who wants to attend the Sharing Party should have a list first.

Some numbers are missing in Sams list. Now lets help him finish the list.

Present some pictures and then let students count, spell and write it down.

(设计意图:通过帮助Sam完成清单的小活动,让学生数一数物品的数量,要求单词拼写正确,书写规范,能有效激发学生的积极性,有效检测学生的学习效果。 )

 ②Lets chant

Sam:I have fifteen balls.

I have five toy cars.

I have seven robots.

I have thirteen apples.

Sweet fruit, I like to eat.

Lovely toys, I love to share.

2. Lets talk

Sam: Welcome to Sharing Party! You can share things with anyone here. Its your time.

Checkout time

T:The two boys come to the party. And they have a talk.What do they have?

Please count and finish the dialogue.

Think:

How to get more details.

T: At the beginning, we should greet each other and be polite. In the middle, if we want to know more details, we can ask different questions. At the end, we should praise and give our thanks to others.

(设计意图:通过对checkout time文本的分析,挖掘出一些语句,丰富话题,增加话轮。授之以鱼,不如授之以渔,通过学习方法的指导让自己说出更多的句子 )

Let's create

Make a new dialogue for the two children in picture 2 of Checkout time. And then show in front of other classmates.

(设计意图:学生根据教师提供的两份清单,和所给的句型,自主创编一段新的对话,引导孩子在分享时,要学会有礼貌地问好,学会交流,向别人表达赞赏与感谢,进行情感教育)

Step 3 Share a story

Bobby wants to attend the Sharing Party too. What will he share? He wants to share a story with us.

T: Do you like stories? OK, lets have a look.

1.Read the cover

The name of this story is <The Kings Yu Player>.

T: Do you have any questions about this title and the cover?

 Introduce the king, Yu players and the Yu.

2.Read  and circle

默读课文,找出文章中有几个国王。

How many kings are there in the story?

They are two kings.

3.Read and fill

自读课文,在文章中用直线划出两个国王地不同之处,填写表格;

填写表格,分析课文中地语言点play together,读一读数字1-19;

跟读数字20-50,找出规律;

根据规律填写60-90;

4.Find and compare

从两幅图片中分别找出吴子,并比较他们神情的不同,分析五子落荒而逃的原因

T:Wuzi opens his eyes and the king closes his eyes and enjoy the music.

How does WuZi feel? He feels very happy. He can get a lot of money.

But look at the last picture? How does he feel now? He feels afraid.Why?

5. Read and repeat

6. Make a conclusion

You can lie for the moment, you cant lie for ever.

Step 4

Share food and drinks.

Share toys and joys.

Share books and stories.

You share, and you enjoy.

Step 5 Homework

1. Read  more picture books after class and then share with us
