字母Ww及绘本融合教学

Fun with Ww

教学目标:

在学完本课后,学生应能

1. 准确认读字母Ww。

2. 准确认读、理解本课中含有字母Ww的单词witch,window,wolf,woman等并掌握Ww在单词中的发音。

3. 掌握字母Ww的儿歌。

4. 掌握简单的拼读技能和解码能力并进行运用。

5. 在互动和游戏中感受到英语学习的乐趣。

教学重点:

1. 掌握Ww字母音、音素音。

2. 通过多层次的听、读、模仿、小组表演等活动学习儿歌。

教学难点:

认读含有字母Ww的单词,尝试拼读和解码。

Teaching procedure

Step 1  Warm-up

Enjoy a phonics song.

  Activity 1Wheres my friend?

(设计意图:认读已学的字母,并将字母与相应的图片进行对应。)

T: Just now, we enjoyed a phonics song. Now let's meet our letter friends. Read their names loudly, OK? Whats this?(教师出示字母卡片,请学生认读并粘贴在黑板上)

Ss: Its...

T: Now lets play a game. Look, there are many pictures on the blackboard. Can you help them to find their letter friends? Each picture has one letter friend. Here are some tips for you.

  Activity 2Card flipping Game.

(设计意图:通过翻卡游戏复习字母儿歌,最后衔接字母Ww。)

T: Cool! You did a good job. Next, lets play another game called Card flipping. Please say Hello to our old friends and chant with them!

T: Look! This is Candy cat. Let’s chant with Candy cat!

Ss: Candy cat, candy cat, what do you say? ... ...

T: Who’s this?

Ss: Elephant.

T: Can you chant with little elephant?

Step 2  Lead-in Ww

Activity 1: Greeting Ww.

(设计意图:通过歌曲Ww的自我介绍,让学生自主发现字母Ww的发音;通过和字母Ww打招呼的环节,让学生在自然的交流中巩固字母名。)

T: This card says Hello to us. Whos this? Heres a vedio, lets watch it.

T: Whos this?

S: Ww.

T: Follow me——Ww.示意学生观察老师的嘴型。)

T: Lets greet Ww.

S1: Hello, Ww!

S2: Hi, Ww!

S3: Good morning, Ww.

Activity 2: Acting Ww.

(设计意图:通过带领学生用肢体动作扮演字母Ww,边说边做,在认识形的同时,继续巩固字母名,帮助学生建立两者之间的关联。)

T: Look! This is Big W, this is small w. Look at me. Lets do it together!

Activity 3: Let's look for Ww.

(设计意图:通过寻找字母Ww的游戏,让学生在图片中发现各式各样的Ww,并大声读,进一步巩固字母名和字形。)

T: Look! Where's Ww? Let's look for Ww.

T: Can you find Ww in this picture and read it loudly?

S: W.

Activity 4: To learn the words with Ww (witch).

(设计意图:多感官认读单词,建立字母和单词之间的联系

T: You can find Ww in this picture. Look! I can see a witch. Look at w, Ww is for witch.

(教读witch,加上动作扮演witch.

T: Listen! W, w, w, w is for witch.

T: Now let's chant together!

(带动作一起说)

Ss: W, W, W, Ww is for witch. Witch. Witch, witch.

Activity 5: To learn the sound of Ww.

1. Listen and chant

T: W-witch. What does Ww say? Lets listen.

S: Ww says /w/ /w/.(教师板书并带着学生做动作)

T: Now lets chant togerther.

Ss: Ww, /w/, /w/ ... ...

2. Listen and choose

(设计意图:通过听一听,选一选(window和witch),让学生感受字母Ww在单词中的发音,感知Ww和其他字母的音的拼合,并检测学生对于window和witch的掌握情况。)

T: Here are more words about w, lets listen.

Step 3  Story time: I am a witch.

1. Watch and order

T: Cool! Everybody chants well. Next, let’s move to story time. Here we have a story about a witch too. Now look at the cover. Can you read the title?

S: I am a witch.

2. Fill the blanks

(设计意图:通过听音补全单词的训练,让学生根据单词的发音,进行解码。)

T: As we all know, the witch has the magic power. She can do everything she like to do. What does the witch want to be? Lets have a look.(播放哈利波特视频)

T: What does the witch want to be? Lets read the story together one by one picture. (带领学生逐页分析课文,请学生听一听单词中缺少了哪个字母,并猜测单词的意思,体会句子情感,模仿朗读)

3. Phonics chantWw

Pigsy的口吻一起来说一说Chant,跟着老师做一做,并在小组内

进行准备,在全班面前进行展示。

Ww says w, w. Witch, witch, witch.

4. 故事匹配

T: So boys and girls, this story is very interesting, right? Do you like reading stories? Of course yes. All these pictures are from classical stories you may have read before. Who knows some of them? Look, this is from Three pigs. This is from Sleeping Beauty. And this is from The Sun and The Wind. This is from a Chinese story, Pigsy eats watermelon.

Step 5  Homework

1. Try to spell more words about Ww

2. Review the rhyme of Ww
