教学目标:
在学完本课后,学生应能
1. 准确认读字母Rr。
2. 准确认读、理解本课中含有字母Rr的单词rabbit,rainbow,run,掌握Rr在单词中的发音。
3. 掌握字母Rr的儿歌。
4. 掌握简单的拼读技能和解码能力并进行运用。
5. 在互动和游戏中感受到英语学习的乐趣。
教学重点:
1. 掌握Rr字母音、音素音。
2. 通过多层次的听、读、模仿、小组表演等活动学习儿歌。
教学难点:
认读含有字母Rr的单词,尝试拼读和解码。
Teaching procedure
Step 1 Warm-up
Activity 1:Let's chant together!
(设计意图:简单介绍教师,在chant中复习部分所学字母发音。)
T: Since I’m a new teacher today, let’s know each other first. Here’s a chant. Let’s chant together!
Hello, everybody! I’m Quintus.
Now clap your hands and chant with me. Ready! Go!
English, English, I like —— English.
Rabbit, rabbit, I like —— Rabbits.
This is my friend letter A。
What, what, what does A say?
A, A, A says /?/, /?/.
This is letter B. What does B say?
B, B, B says /b/, /b/.
What about letter f? What does f say?
f, f, f says /f/, /f/.
Now look at letter G. What does G say?
G, G, G says /g/, /g/.
This is letter m. What does m say?
m, m, m says /m/, /m/.
The last is letter q. What does q say?
q, q, q says /qu/, /qu/.
(注:红色部分学生齐)
Activity 2:Card flipping Game.
(设计意图:通过翻卡游戏复习字母儿歌,最后衔接字母Rr。)
T: Cool! You did a good job. Next, let’s play a game called “Card flipping”. Please say “Hello” to our old friends and chant with them!
T: Look! This is Candy cat. Let’s chant with Candy cat!
Ss: Candy cat, candy cat, what do you say? ... ...
T: Who’s this?
Ss: Elephant.
T: Can you chant with little elephant?
Step 2 Lead-in Rr
Activity 1: Greeting Rr.
(设计意图:通过歌曲Rr的自我介绍,让学生自主发现字母Rr的发音;通过和字母Rr打招呼的环节,让学生在自然的交流中巩固字母名。)
T: This card says ‘Hello’ to us. Who’s this? Here’s a vedio, let’s watch it.
T: Who’s this?
S: Rr.
T: Follow me——Rr.(示意学生观察老师的嘴型。)
T: Let’s greet Rr.
S1: Hello, Rr!
S2: Hi, Rr!
S3: Good morning, Rr.
Activity 2: Acting Rr.
(设计意图:通过带领学生用肢体动作扮演字母大小写Rr,边说边做,在认识形的同时,继续巩固字母名,帮助学生建立两者之间的关联。)
T: Look! This is Big R, this is small r. Look at me. Let’s do it together!
Activity 3: Let's look for Rr.
(设计意图:通过寻找字母Rr的游戏,让学生在图片中发现各式各样的Rr,并大声读,进一步巩固字母名和字形。)
T: Look! Where's Rr? Let's look for Rr.
T: Can you find Rr in this picture and read it loudly?
S: R.
Activity 4: To learn the words with Rr (rabbit, rainbow).
(设计意图:多感官认读单词,建立字母和单词之间的联系)
T: You can find r in this picture. Look! I can see a rabbit. Look at r, r is for rabbit.
(教读rabbit,加上动作扮演rabbit.)
T: Lisen! R, r, r, r is for rabbit.
T: What’s the name of this rabbit? Let’s listen.
(听rainbow,教读rainbow)
T: Now let's chant together!
(带动作一起说)
Ss: R, R, R, Rr is for rabbit/rainbow. Rainbow rabbit.
Activity 5: To learn the sound of Rr.
1. Listen and chant
T: R-rainbow, R-rabbit. What does Rr say? Let’s listen.
S: Rr says /r/ /r/.
T: Now let’s chant togerther.
Ss: R, /r/, /r/ ... ...
2. Listen and choose
(设计意图:通过听一听,选一选(rainbow和rabbit),让学生感受字母Rr在单词中的发音,感知Rr和其他字母的音的拼合,并检测学生对于rabbit和rainbow的掌握情况。)
T: Which word is for rabbit/rainbow?
Activity 6: To learn the words with Rr (run).
T: What does rainbow rabbit do? Let’s listen and choose.
T: Look, r says /r/, /r/ -run. But b says /b/, /b/-bun, not run. So choose A. run.
(动作解释run,并教读run,run,run和run,rabbit,run.)
Activity 7: Let's chant together.
(设计意图:通过运用听、边听边做动作、边说边做动作、小组合作表演等多种方式,反复播放录音,帮助学生磨耳朵,对儿歌形成听觉记忆)
Step 3 Story time: “Rabbits, run, run, run”.
1. 听音,整体认读单词
(设计意图:利用汉语拼音的正迁移,鼓励学生勇敢拼读。)
T: Cool! Everybody chants well. Next, let’s move to story time. Here we have a story about a rabbit too. Now look at the cover. Can you read the title?
S: Rabbits, run, run, run.
T: Now let’s enjoy the story and answer my question: What are the rabbits running for?
S: Rose.
T: Which word is for rose?
2. 听音,补全单词
(设计意图:通过听音补全单词的训练,让学生根据单词的发音,进行解码。)
T: What places or animals do the rabbits pass by? Let’s have a look.
T: Road. Which letter is missing here?
Step 4 Summary.
T: Today we meet a new letter friend Rr.
T: We can find Rr in our life, they have different meanings. Look! BRT! We can find Rr in the car too.
T: Try to think: where else can we find Rr?
