教学目标: 1. 感知和理解故事大意,在阅读中获取故事主线。 2. 梳理和概括Crocodile在寻找牙医和找到牙医后心理所产生的变化。 3. 在给定的情境中(板书Story map)中复述这个故事的主要情节。 4. 分析和评价故事中Crocodile,小动物们以及小鸟的态度和行为,并且谈论故事中人物的态度、行为变化,感受Crocodile的牙疼时无助与获得帮助时欣喜,小鸟的勇敢等。 教学重难点: 1. 在给定的情境中(板书Story map)中复述这个故事的主要情节。 2. 分析和评价故事中Crocodile,小动物们以及小鸟的态度和行为,并且谈论故事中人物的态度、行为变化,感受Crocodile的牙疼时无助与获得帮助时欣喜,小鸟的勇敢等。 | |||||

Step3 While-reading
| 1. Read the cover 1) Ask some questions T: What’s the matter with crocodile? 2) Understand the title T: What’s the meaning of dentist? I take some pictures from the story. Maybe we can get the answer from the pictures. dentist= the doctor who takes care of people’s teeth “I have a ___________. I want to see the_________. ” 2. Scan and order Scan Page1-8 by yourself, then put these pictures in order.
3. Listen and stick Listen to the tape, then stick the sentences to the right pictures.
4. Read for details 1) Read Page 2-7 T: The crocodile met a lot of friends on his way. Are they scared of the crocodile? Read Page 2-7 to find out the evidence.
2) Try to imitate and imagine T: “Help! Help!” Nobody answers. So the crocodile is very ______. Who can read it well? T: Though there’s nobody answering, but we can see an animal in the house. Try to guess what animal is it? What will he say? Maybe it is _____________. He said “_________________ hurt/hurts.”
